The western valleys with trails are (north to south): Sol Duc, Bogachiel, Hoh, South Fork Hoh, Queets and Quinault. Queets is the most difficult due to the river crossing. Bogachiel and South Fork Hoh start a little outside the Park and are not as well known. The Hoh and Sol Duc get the most visitors.
