fitting it my window on that side got stuck halfway, and sure enough the window motor and regulator was broken. I had a new one fitted from a mx5 2018 model (shouldn’t be an issue if mine is 2019) and that’s when I noticed the window couldn’t be operated from the drivers side buttons. As stated the window goes down when the door is opened.
