The G wagon has its own peculiarities like rattles from the hood (that can be fixed by taping the rubber stop at the front corner of the hood) and other small rattles, but they’re great cars. The older versions like the G55 AMG and G500 have gone for hundreds of thousands of miles, and this will too if you take care for it. Look for rust.
