For socks & underwear I go for cheap and disposable. Walmart socks generally go for $3 – $4 a pair and when they wear out they become raggs … ragg wool ? Pretty much 6 mos a year it is too warm so I wear clogs and clog-like shoes without socks. But then I don’t hike much or have much need for boot protection.
