Sublocade (buprenorphine) is an extended-release injection used to treat adults with moderate to severe addiction to opioid drugs, to help reduce opioid cravings and withdrawal symptoms. Sublocade is administered as a once-monthly injection under the skin (subcutaneously) after the initial doses. Sublocade is a partial opioid agonist.
