Also I’m sure most discussions on reddit would be further slimmed down on hackernews. I think it’s because the forum layout uses almost full width from left to right, while Facebook, Twitter & reddit is limited to the middle of the screen. I don’t what’s the technical term for it, but I’ve been noticing it a lot lately.
